| As
with all McDonald's food items, food safety is our prime concern.
Our sandwiches undergo over 40 separate tests throughout the
food chain to ensure that the meat that we serve you and your
family is inspected for safety - by us, the local municipalities,
as well as independent third parties.
At McDonald's, we apply the HACCP
(Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) program to ensure
food safety throughout the food supply chain. HACCP is used
to identify the potential points of hazard on the production
lines at our supplier's factories and all the way to our restaurants,
as well as to put in place systems to prevent and eliminate
such hazards
Every sandwich served at McDonald's
can be traced to its very origin. From the farm, every animal
is identified and branded with a unique number that serves
as its passport. Traceability is ensured at every stage, all
the way up to McDonald's restaurants. |
