 Tracing
its root from the company’s founder’s philosophy
of giving something back to the community, Al Mana Restaurants
and Food Company, McDonald’s Qatar lived up to that noble
principle by reaching out through various hospitals and charitable
institutions in the country. Since McDonald’s early days
in Qatar, the company participated or organized worthwhile events
for the benefit of the less fortunate members of the society.
 McDonald’s
Qatar, spearheaded by its Managing Director, Kamal Saleh AlMana
has embarked in numerous partnerships with various charitable
and civic groups in the country. It’s partnership with
the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, The Qatar
Handicapped Society, The Qatar Athletic Federation, and The
Al Shafalah Center reflects the unique, local nature of McDonald’s
Qatar mainly owned and operated by local citizen who are very
much involved in their communities, and give something to them
in many different ways.
In one of its projects, McDonald’s Qatar has raised fund
in total of one hundred thousand Riyals to provide assistance
to children with special needs.
Under the people category, McDonald’s Qatar employs diverse
nationalities, with mainly Asians and Arabic nationals. It outlines
its people principles of advance training, development, and
commitment to a diverse workforce, helping provide better jobs
in the community and aspires to be the best employer in the
country.
McDonald’s contribute to the welfare of communities as
part of its heritage. As McDonald’s Qatar has started
7 years back, it looks forward to getting more involved and
of help to the local community.
