We are Al Maousherji Catering Company the Licensee of McDonald’s Kuwait
McDonald’s Kuwait prides itself on being a local member of the community and has been committed to being a responsible corporate citizen since the first restaurant opened in the Kuwait.
We are making our restaurants more modern and inviting places, where everyone is welcome. We’re championing healthier and happier kids. And, we’re helping those in need by raising funds for local charities.
Community involvement is undoubtedly an essential and key constituent of our philosophy that we adhere to. No efforts or resources are spared in our community involvement and social responsibility.
Our community activities in Kuwait are through sponsorship and strategic alliances or through our own campaigns and initiatives. They primarily revolve around supporting our compatriots through the following:
McDonald’s Kuwait regularly organizes trips for Chief Happiness Officer, Ronald McDonald to visit hospitals and pediatric wards to bring smiles and cheers to children. During each visit, Ronald McDonald lifts the spirits of patients and orphans with entertainment and hand-outs of special gifts. Recent visits were to Al Amiri, Farwaniya, Mowasat, Jahra and Mubarak hospitals.
Ronald McDonald joins in the cleaning activities across the beaches of Kuwait with the help of children. McDonald’s Kuwait and special needs associations are doing their part to preserve the Kuwaiti coast.
As an active member of the Kuwaiti community, with heavy emphasis on environmental responsibility, McDonald’s Kuwait celebrates Earth Day by taking to the parks in Kuwait and making them greener by planting plants and flowers. In 2011, McDonald’s employees, along with children of all ages, joined Ronald McDonald at Rawda Park and, together, planted trees. In 2012, trees were planted in Mishref Park, and this year we are going to have Earth Day in April in Salwa Park.

Yellow Schools League (McDonald’s Kuwait & Boca Juniors Kuwait)
McDonald’s Kuwait has announced their alliance with BOCA Juniors football academy in Kuwait, one of the most famous and decorated football teams in the world. The two year alliance called ‘Yellow Alliance’ is derived from the color yellow that both parties share and has been incorporated based on the mutual values that both McDonald’s and BOCA share. The Yellow Alliance, which is the first of its kind for both parties in Kuwait, will aim to provide members of the community with the ultimate football experience. The alliance will also encourage the community members to take part in a range of appealing activities which focus on bringing the family together through the love of football. Most prominent activities include a school football tournament and a special needs training program.
McDonald’s Kuwait is always keen to support local Kuwaiti talent and encourage them to attain ambition. One of those talented people who was supported by us is (Young Picasso) Hamad Al Humaidhan who presented a unique piece of art to McDonald’s Kuwait. The painting called “McDonald’s Family,” portrays Ronald McDonald and the culture of McDonald’s in an impressionistic form and can now be seen displayed at McDonald’s Corniche.
