Being an active partner of various community activities, McDonald’s Oman has gone out of its way, delightfully reaching out to the less fortunate children in the local community in Barka in the celebration of ‘Orphan’s Day’. For second consecutive year, McDonald’s has been an active supporter of Let’s Read, a campaign that promotes the love of reading in a variety of ways including the development of reading areas and playrooms for children in hospitals and supplement school libraries, nurseries and community centres with books, among others. The campaign supports reading initiatives in schools and, with the aid of high school pupils and university students, it provides volunteers to read to children. More

McDonald’s continues Tastes of the World Promotion With a Visit to France

McDonald’s Oman announced the next destination on its Tastes of the World Tour with a visit to France. The highly anticipated fourth sandwich – the French – is now available across McDonald’s restaurants. The French promises a satisfying taste of France with its 100% pure Halal beef patty dipped in black pepper sauce, garnished with slivered onions and nestled in a sesame seed bun. The French will be available in all McDonald’s restaurants for a limited period only. More

McDonald’s named one of World’s Top Ten Most powerful Brands

McDonald’s was recently named the world’s seventh most powerful brand in Forbes’s World’s 100 Most Powerful Brands list. The only quick service restaurant to be named in the top 50 brands, McDonald’s earned its top ten positions based on input from 2,000 consumers from across the world. More
